Falconeri Photo Production on Lake Garda
Fashion photo production at a brutalist villa on Lake Garda
Courage Production managed the photo production on Lake Garda for the Falconeri cashmere campaign, shot by Lala Serrano. The brief called for a location that balanced natural lake landscape with hard architecture, and the full unit moved from Milan for the shoot.
Finding the villa was the first job. Courage Production scouted Lake Garda for a property that paired brutalist location with direct water access, then secured the location and all access permits. The building sits on the shoreline, which offers angles on the water that a standard villa could not provide.
Courage Production coordinated a support boat as a camera platform. Shooting from water onto a fixed structure is a timing job, the boat holds position while the light and the wardrobe changes are worked through on land. This is the kind of logistics line that does not exist on a dry-land shoot.
Everything ran from Milan. Lake Garda is about two hours away by road, inside the operational range we use for northern Italy shoots. Courage Production handled the villa contracting, permits, support boat, catering, transportation logistics and photo crew for the campaign. A separate film unit ran the film TVC on the same location.
For another campaign on the same lake, see our Boden campaign on Lake Garda, and for the Milan setup, our Milan film and photo production company.
