Monique Lhuillier bridal campaign on Lake Como

Courage Production provided the production service on Lake Como for the Monique Lhuillier ready-to-wear and bridal campaign, shot by Sonia Szostak for Harbinger Creative in New York. Two shoot days at Villa Balbiano, a classic Riva boat on the water, and an international crew flying in from the US, Paris and London.

Every change of look happened inside the villa, and the dresses went on the water only for the shot. One Riva, the photographer and the models on board, no camera boat.

Villa Balbiano is a 16th-century estate in Ossuccio, best known as the main set of House of Gucci. The frescoed rooms and formal gardens provide the backdrop, and the size of the house keeps wardrobe, hair and make-up indoors. The gowns left the dressing room only for the shot.

On the lake, one classic Riva with just the photographer and the models on board. No support boat needed for crew or client team.

Courage Production handled the villa booking and permits, the Riva charter, the crew from Milan and accommodation around the lake. Courage Production also worked with Harbinger Creative on the Linda Farrow campaign, shot at the same villa.
