The most iconic and most regulated location in Venice. Lead times are longer and fees are higher. Commercial shoots are restricted to early morning hours before tourist access opens. Courage Production has managed shoots here for luxury fashion campaigns.

Palazzo locations on the Grand Canal

Several historic palazzi along the Grand Canal are available for interior and exterior shoots. Access is by water most of the time. Load-in requires cargo boat coordination timed with the palazzo's private dock schedule. Fees are negotiated directly with owners or managing foundations. Interior lighting rigs are often limited by heritage ceilings and frescoes.

Murano and Burano

Murano offers glass factory interiors and industrial backdrops. Burano is known for its colorful fishermen's houses. Both are accessible by water boats (20/30 minutes from central Venice). Permit restrictions are lighter than in central Venice. Both are good options for fashion editorials and lifestyle content that needs color and texture.

The Lido

The only area in Venice with road access. Cars and vans can reach the location directly, making it the easiest Venice location for larger-scale productions. The Venice Film Festival takes place here every September at the Palazzo del Cinema. During non-festival periods, the Lido features beachfront settings and Art Deco architecture.

Arsenale and Giudecca

Former industrial and military zones are now used for art exhibitions (Venice Biennale) and creative productions. Larger interior spaces than most Venetian locations.
